Time is the most valuable thing you and I have.

How are you spending yours?

If you’re lucky, you spend the bulk of your time doing the things you love. If a lot of your time is spent doing things that don’t matter much to you, than this ONE bad habit may be to blame.

Are you someone who can’t help but say “YES” to everyone and everything, despite knowing that it is not what you want to do? And you KNOW that it’s not serving your highest potential.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Today I want to show you that breaking this habit is key to looking back on a life of happiness and fulfilment. Something that you deserve!

What if time were money. What if every minute was worth $1 (or $2, or $10, or even $50)? Would you be more careful about what and who you allow to take up your time?

If time is our most valuable commodity, shouldn’t we be even more concerned about it than money?

Money is just money after all, and you can always make a dollar back that you spend. But a moment of your life, once gone, is gone forever. There is no way to get it back.

What have you said “yes” to recently that you are not passionate about? How much time will you now have to spend on something that deep down, you don’t really care about?

There are a lot of people who fall into the habit of saying “yes” to everything.

I use to be one of those people, so I get it.

I use to say “yes” to things over and over and over again. And you know what happened? I got so burnt out that I wasn’t able to keep up with it all. I would say yes to things but be unable to follow through on a lot of them. I started to seem flakey and insincere. In reality, I just didn’t have the capacity to do it all!

I don’t want that to happen to you.

From this day forward I want to encourage you to say “no” and honor your needs.

I want you to only say yes to the things…

  • that build you up

  • that make you feel fulfilled

  • that open you up and add love to your heart

  • that help you become who you want to be

  • that strengthen and help you grow in a positive way

  • that bring you joy

Because those are the things that will make life worth living!

Today, I’m giving you permission to say “no” to anything that doesn’t sit right with you.

And I beg of you – don’t feel bad about it!

Saying “no” doesn’t make you a bad person and it doesn’t mean you don’t care about something. It is simply a sign that you VALUE your time and RESPECT your true purpose and passion in life.

I want you to be able to stand in your power as the best version of who I know  already are within. Becoming the master of your time and heart is key to your destiny.

If you’re reading this then you’ve probably been saying “yes” too much lately. That’s okay! Because NOW you have the chance to break the habit and start living in a way that is more conducive to what will really bring you fulfilment and purpose in life.

It’s time to learn to say “no”, my friend. And to do it with power!

The more you say “no” to the things not serving you, the more time you have to say “yes” to the things that really light your soul on fire. And THAT is what life is all about.
