Who wouldn’t get inspired by the motivations Tanya is sending for everyone? After losing about 50 pounds with juicing, she can really say that she’s inching a physically healthy body. She feels absolutely good and couldn’t be any more thankful for the support base that she’s getting. She says that in order to be successful in this endeavor, you have to reach out.

HOW DID JUICING BECOME A PART OF YOUR HEALING PROCESS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT IT?
I began juicing over 2 years ago.I heard about juicing from the documentary Fat Sick and Nearly Dead.
WHEN DID YOU START AND WHAT’S YOUR REGIMEN?
At first I juiced 1 to 2 times a day. Then I did a few short fasts. Then I ended up doing 14 days and then 30 which lead up to my last one where I used the Alpha Reset guidelines and did a 90 day fast. I have to say out of all the fasts I have done the 90 day was by far the easiest. The key to my success was definitely the support of the fit life team as well as my juicing animals family. I no longer fear coming off the fast Alpha Reset has the gentlest guidelines that work quite well with most anybody.
WHAT VEGETABLES/FRUITS/ITEMS, etc. DID YOU MOST FREQUENTLY JUICE?
My favorite wake up juice is definitely grapefruit. I really enjoy straight spinach shots as well as most any leafy green juiced. I found towards the end of the 90 day fast I mostly just wanted leafy greens and I am still hooked on them.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT HAVE YOU LOST SINCE THE BEGINNING OF YOUR JOURNEY?
Since starting my juicing journey I have lost over 50 lbs and with my taste buds having changed so much it has been easy to stick with healthy foods.
WHAT OTHER BENEFITS HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED?
My body has improved in so many ways. My skin is smoother. I have increased energy as well as just an overall better mood and outlook on my health.
DESCRIBE YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE DURING THIS TIME.
During my 90 day fast I started running and I love it still. I feel like I NEED to run everyday or get on my elliptical. I look forward to working out and it no longer feels like a chore.
HAS YOUR LIFE OUTLOOK CHANGED?
I always saw myself as a pretty positive person but I never saw myself being able to get healthy. Now with juicing I realize that my body was starved of nutrients. With juice I am able to get all of the nutrients my body has been missing out on all this time. I finally feel like being healthy and reaching a place where I can feel good not only about myself but physically feeling good is easily within my reach.
WHAT WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE JUICING FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Never give up. Juicing can change your life forever. Reach out for support if not with the fit life team find a group. Write down why you are doing this because I can’t tell you how many times I went back and reread my why. It will keep you moving in a positive direction. Anyone can do this. You can change your life, and it will change the generations that come after you. We are the example the children of this world follow. Lets be the best example we can be.
The best reward that we can give to ourselves is probably health, precisely because it entitles us to all the other rewards in life like fulfilling our dreams and shaping relationships with people. These are the very things that will get compromised with a deteriorating health.
This is also why Tanya made it clear that you need to have a good support base in doing this. You may find yourself stumble for a lot of times in achieving this goal. But that shouldn’t mean you would stop. Continue soaring greater heights. And with juicing, you’re giving yourself a shot to an active and healthy lifestyle.
